Privacy Notice

This notice covers information submitted to Skid Steer Zone for part identification, compatibility review, support, and offline quote preparation.

Information we collect

We may receive your name, business, email, phone number, machine brand and model, machine serial information, existing part numbers, request details, and optional product or machine files. Our hosting provider may also process ordinary technical request data such as IP address and browser information.

How we use it

We use submitted information only to understand the request, identify missing evidence, review possible compatibility, prepare or discuss an offline quote, prevent abuse, and maintain the related support record. A serial number helps identify a machine; it does not by itself confirm product fitment.

Uploads and sensitive information

Uploads are limited to supported product-identification images and PDF documents. Do not submit payment-card data, banking records, identity documents, proof of ownership, passwords, or unrelated personal records. Treat every customer upload as untrusted until it has been reviewed safely.

Service providers and sharing

Quote requests are processed through Netlify Forms and may be shared with service providers or suppliers only when needed to answer the request. We do not sell submitted personal information. Provider processing may occur in countries other than your own.

Retention and deletion

We review quote-request records at least annually and normally delete the submission and its uploaded files within 24 months after the last related interaction, unless a longer period is reasonably required for an active request, dispute, fraud prevention, or legal obligation. You may request access, correction, or deletion through the contact page.

Security boundary

We apply request-size, file-count, file-type, and browser content-signature checks, together with provider spam controls. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so submit only information needed for the fitment or quote request.

Effective date: August 28, 2026. We will update this page if the collection purpose, providers, or retention process materially changes.
